There is not long until the new campaign gets underway and there’s still plenty of business still to be done on the transfer front at Fratton Park.
Six new additions have already been recruited as John Mousinho aims to strengthen his ranks as the Blues bid to improve on their 18th-placed finish last term.
Work is already underway to move on some members of the head coach’s squad, which has already prompted the temporary exits of Makenzie Kirk and Jordan Williams.
The former penned a season-long loan deal with League One Barnsley earlier this month, while the latter has also made the drop to the third tier joining Blackpool on a season-long agreement.
With the wheels now in motion to move on some other members, we’ve identified 10 players who could still depart before the September 2 deadline.

2. Josef Bursik
With Daniel Bielica arriving through the doors at Fratton Park in a £500,000 move last week, Bursik’s future has been plunged into uncertainty just a year after his signing. Mousinho admitted if the former Club Brugge man hadn’t sustained his calf injury then the Blues wouldn’t have been in the market for a new shot stopper. But with four goalkeepers now on the books, the head coach has hinted at the possibility of Bursik departing before the window’s climax. | Pro Sports Images

3. Ibane Bowat
Bowat has been told he is free to leave Fratton Park this summer as he heads into the final 12 months of his current terms. Despite remaining injury free last term, the centre-back featured just 18 times after falling down Mousinho’s pecking order. The 2023 arrival is looking for more regular game time, which also suggests his future now lies away from the south coast. | Pro Sports Images

4. Josh Knight
It was a tough maiden campaign on the south coast for the ex-Peterborough man, who completed a £1m move from Hannover just 12 months ago. A back issue forced Knight to sit out the final six months of the campaign, which saw him feature just 14 times across the campaign. Although Mousinho has admitted he currently has no plans to part with the 28-year-old, the Blues are still looking to bring in a frontline centre-back, while also hoping to trim down their options, with six in the building at present. | Pro Sports Images
