There is not long until the new campaign gets underway and there’s still plenty of business still to be done on the transfer front at Fratton Park.
Six new additions have already been recruited as John Mousinho aims to strengthen his ranks as the Blues bid to improve on their 18th-placed finish last term.
Work is already underway to move on some members of the head coach’s squad, which has already prompted the temporary exits of Makenzie Kirk and Jordan Williams.
The former penned a season-long loan deal with League One Barnsley earlier this month, while the latter has also made the drop to the third tier joining Blackpool on a season-long agreement.
With the wheels now in motion to move on some other members, we’ve identified 10 players who could still depart before the September 2 deadline.

9. Harvey Blair
Mousinho has recently made it clear that the Blues are not looking to let Blair depart this summer amid their lack of options on the wing. The 23-year-old has struggled in pre-season so far, carving further doubt of his future with one-year remaining on his deal. If the Blues were to strengthen out wide in the coming weeks, Pompey could sanction an exit for the 2024 arrival before the close of the window. | Pro Sports Images

10. Hayden Matthews
Matthews struggled for regular minutes last term, featuring just 13 times in the Championship. The Blues will continue to assess the Aussie and Dia with a loan exit a possibility for either one of the young central defenders. | Pro Sports Images

11. Madiodio Dia
Dia acclimatised well to English football following his deadline-day arrival in February. Likewise with Matthews, the Blues will run the rule over the pair in pre-season and may sanction a loan exit for either one in order to continue their development, while still making sure Mousinho's side aren't left too short in numbers at the back. | Pro Sports Images
