There is not long until the new campaign gets underway and there’s still plenty of business still to be done on the transfer front at Fratton Park.
Six new additions have already been recruited as John Mousinho aims to strengthen his ranks as the Blues bid to improve on their 18th-placed finish last term.
Work is already underway to move on some members of the head coach’s squad, which has already prompted the temporary exits of Makenzie Kirk and Jordan Williams.
The former penned a season-long loan deal with League One Barnsley earlier this month, while the latter has also made the drop to the third tier joining Blackpool on a season-long agreement.
With the wheels now in motion to move on some other members, we’ve identified 10 players who could still depart before the September 2 deadline.

5. Luke Le Roux
Pompey are open to listening to offers for the midfielder, less than 12 months after his £1m switch from IFK Varnamo. Le Roux struggled for game time in his maiden campaign at PO4 and registered just 16 outings in all competitions. Mousinho admitted the Blues will be seeking either a loan or permanent exit for the South Africa international, who is hoping for more regular minutes next term. | Pro Sports Images

6. Franco Umeh
Umeh's Fratton Park career is yet to spring into life, having struggled heavily with injury. The winger totalled just 45 minutes of action across two appearances last term, with respective hamstring issues forcing him to miss the vast majority of the season. The Irishman is expected to miss the start of the new campaign with a fresh groin problem. Could a loan exit be the best option for Umeh to return to fitness? | Pro Sports Images

7. Jacob Farrell
The Blues are also open to letting the left-back depart either on loan or a permanent basis this summer. Farrell is another who has been hampered by injury since his 2024 arrival and has registered just three first-team appearances. A fresh set-back could put a departure this summer at risk but Pompey are looking to offload the Aussie, who has strong interest in Australia. | Pro Sports Images

8. Terry Devlin
Pompey reportedly rejected a bid for Devlin from Wrexham in January in order to keep hold of the popular defender. A move to north Wales now, though, appears to be off the cards in the current window following Danny Imray's £5m switch to the Racecourse Ground earlier this week. Mousinho is anticipating interest in the right-back this summer, but it would take a significant offer for the Blues to consider parting with Devlin, who still has two years remaining on his current Fratton terms. | Pro Sports Images
