Understandably, there will be little optimism among the Fratton faithful following 15 defeats in 21 away matches for Pompey this season.
Still, Mousinho insists his team is now close to clicking on their travels and will be weighing up whether to recall Adil Aouchiche to bolster his side’s creativity.
Here is Neil Allen’s predicted Pompey line-up for the trip to Coventry Building Society Arena...
9. AM Adil Aouchiche
Left out at Millwall having started the previous six matches as John Mousinho opted to employ Terry Devlin in the number 10 role, offering a different skill set. The Frenchman could well return at Coventry, though, who won't be as physical as Millwall, so perhaps suiting his game more. Photo: Jason Brown
10. LW Josh Murphy
A strong player of the season contender, although Pompey struggled to get him involved at Millwall. Still, class will always triumph. Photo: Jason Brown
11. CF Colby Bishop
Comfortably Pompey's first-choice striker, with Kusini Yengi not even making the squad at Millwall. Although Mark O'Mahony is expected to return from a back spasm, Bishop will start at Coventry. Photo: Jason Brown
12. Sub 1 Jordan Archer
