Understandably, there will be little optimism among the Fratton faithful following 15 defeats in 21 away matches for Pompey this season.
Still, Mousinho insists his team is now close to clicking on their travels and will be weighing up whether to recall Adil Aouchiche to bolster his side’s creativity.
Here is Neil Allen’s predicted Pompey line-up for the trip to Coventry Building Society Arena...
5. LB Cohen Bramall
Has been a canny bit of business by Pompey to bring in Bramall and he has done well when called upon. Unlikely to dislodge Ogilvie from left-back, but with his rival currently serving at centre-half, the position is his. Photo: Jason Brown
6. CM Andre Dozzell
Scored his second goal of the season at Millwall which, for a short period, appeared as if it would be the equaliser. Capped another solid game from the midfielder, who continues to keep Isaac Hayden out. Photo: Jason Brown
7. CM Freddie Potts
Not at his best at Millwall and perhaps John Mousinho may be weighing up whether to replace him with Isaac Hayden at Coventry. Still, the West Ham loanee continues to be a classy player. Photo: Jason Brown
8. RW Matt Ritchie
Currently Pompey's captain and a key component in their press, particularly away from home. Ritchie's role is not as attacking or creative as Josh Murphy on the other flank, but he offers plenty of other strengths. Photo: Jason Brown
