Understandably, there will be little optimism among the Fratton faithful following 15 defeats in 21 away matches for Pompey this season.
Still, Mousinho insists his team is now close to clicking on their travels and will be weighing up whether to recall Adil Aouchiche to bolster his side’s creativity.
Here is Neil Allen’s predicted Pompey line-up for the trip to Coventry Building Society Arena...
17. Sub 6 Isaac Hayden
Was initially handed a chance in the starting XI, but for a while now Hayden has found no way past the central midfield partnership of Andre Dozzell and Freddie Potts. Photo: Jason Brown
18. Sub 7 Christian Saydee
When fit, a regular on the bench for Pompey this season. Has largely been a better impact player for the Blues than starting, so it's a role which suits. Photo: Jason Brown
19. Sub 8 Kaide Gordon
Has featured just four times for Pompey since joining on loan from Liverpool. Interestingly, was overlooked for Harvey Blair on the right against Millwall as a substitute. Photo: Jason Brown
20. Sub 9 Harvey Blair
A surprise choice on the bench at Millwall - then was handed his first outing in four months. Was hugely involved in the build-up to Andre Dozzell's goal, with two balls in from the right. Photo: Jason Brown
