There are so many fun, cool, quirky and unusual places to visit and see in Portsmouth from range from historic monuments to stunning viewpoints - as well as (or course) fabulous attractions.
These are just a few of our favourites:

9. The Upside Down House
This unusual tourist attraction will confuse your brain with the The Upside Down House Portsmouth found at Clarence Pier. Afterwards you can enjoy the amusements at the Pier as well - including both an indoor and outdoor mini golf course. Picture: Habibur Rahman Photo: HAbibur Rahman

10. Watching the world (and ships) go by
There are many fantastic spots to watch the world go by in and around our city, but Old Portsmouth has many of the best as you can also watch the ships coming in and out of the harbour. Many people head to the Round Tower or Spice Island, but we love the seating area off Bath Square. Picture: Chris Moorhouse | Chris Moorhouse (250524-09)

11. End of the road at Eastney
Often a forgotten part of the city, the area from Eastney Pier up to the Hayling Ferry is a perfect little spot to take in the Solent Views. Away from the crowds as well it is also a great little place to let your little ones have a little paddle! Photo: Sarah Marston

12. So much history to see - and for free
Portsmouth is bursting with history and there are many wonderful places you can visit for free. One of our favourites is Fort Nelson which can found at the top of Portsdown Hill. There is plenty to see inside, lots of exhibitions and lots to wonder round and explore - including the parade ground. And of course it has a cafe which is a must! | Cathy Brooks Photo: Cathy Brooks
