What a season it's been for Pompey so far and John Mousinho's squad.
It's been a campaign full of impressive performances for so many different reasons, as players live up to their billing, surprise packages emerge and assets grow.
But who are the players who have shone brightest so far? And who is finding form at just the right moment in the campaigh?
Pompey writer Jordan Cross has given his personal view of John Mousinho's squad with a rating out of 10 (players need to have made at least five appearances to feature).

17. Sean Raggett - 8
The modern-day Linvoy Primus. Like the Pompey legend has been written off on many occasions but continues to fight back against the odds. A defender who defends, yet has shown he can be progressive with the ball, too. They can build his statue if Pompey go up. Photo: Jason Brown

18. Joe Rafferty - 8
Pushing Joe Morrell close in the dependability stakes, the Scouser has been a source of reassurance as a defender and a willing runner down the right flank all term, whether as a decoy or supply of ammunition from right flank. A leader in the dressing room, too. Photo: Jason Brown
19. Alex Robertson - 8
Oh, how we long for our Antipodean prince. A joy to watch his intelligence, quality and talent which will surely be realised at the highest level. Fortunately, we have a lengthy highlights reel at his driving runs, quick thinking and range of passing to look back on - and just maybe we might see that class back in royal blue again. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

A game-changing wrecking ball who has chimed with the identity of Pompey. Amazing foresight for John Mousinho to utilise the striker in a deeper role, where he has made a big impact on many occasions this term. Seen more fleetingly of late, but a powerful option in the Blues’ arsenal. Photo: Jason Brown
