What a season it's been for Pompey so far and John Mousinho's squad.
It's been a campaign full of impressive performances for so many different reasons, as players live up to their billing, surprise packages emerge and assets grow.
But who are the players who have shone brightest so far? And who is finding form at just the right moment in the campaigh?
Pompey writer Jordan Cross has given his personal view of John Mousinho's squad with a rating out of 10 (players need to have made at least five appearances to feature).

9. Tom Lowery - 7
Have to feel for the midfielder as he deals with more wretched injury fortune. Latest loss is a big blow to Pompey, too, with his return from knee surgery coinciding with Blues’ winning run after Christmas struggles - his form important to that upturn which may prove key in final reckoning. | National World Photo: Jason Brown

10. Josh Martin - 6
Been a useful addition to the squad, after arriving on trial and clocked up eight appearances to date. The fact he is clearly ahead of high-profile additions in Anthony Scully and Gavin Whyte in winger pecking order shows he is valued by John Mousinho. Photo: Jason Brown
11. Joe Morrell - 8
Has a big claim to the status of Pompey's most consistent performer this season, before knee injury curtailed season earlier this month. Will have to deal with questions over discipline after two more red cards this term, but level of performance at a high in recent months as he chased the Blues promotion he thirsted for. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages

12. Koby Mottoh - 6
Still not 17 until August, but been given chances at senior level and has caught the eye out wide with his turn of pace and direct play. Long way to go, but showing promise. Rating a reflection of his lack of senior appearances over overall form. Photo: Jason Brown
