Pompey and Hull City fans have been discussing Abu Kamara’s future as speculation grows.

The Blues have been credited with an interest in the League One title winner this summer, according to a fresh report from the Hull Daily Mail.

It is believed John Mousinho’s men are considering a bid for the 22-year-old, who still has two years to run on his current MKM Stadium terms.

The report states while no deal has been agreed, talks are ongoing between the two clubs as they eye a breakthrough.

Kamara, of course, enjoyed a brilliant season-long loan at Fratton Park, playing a crucial role in Mousinho’s title-winning squad.

The winger, who rose through the ranks at Norwich City, netted 10 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions on the south coast, prompting plenty of interest following his successful in 2024.

Although the Blues were hoping to land the attacker on a permanent basis, Hull were able to secure a deal worth £3m-plus as they flexed their financial muscle to secure the Carrow Road academy talent.

Kamara’s two-year stay in the north east has been far from plain sailing, though, scoring just five goals and registering three assists in 40 outings. Despite amassing two outings for the Tigers at the start of last term, the ex-England youth international spent the campaign on loan with Getafe, but struggled for form in La Liga,
