Pompey were hampered by injuries throughout the campaign on their way to an 18th-placed Championship finish last term.
As preparations for the new season continue this Saturday with a trip to Wycombe Wanderers, a number of key faces remain sidelined due to respective setbacks.
We’ve taken a look at all 12 members of John Mousinho’s squad who are currently battling injury issues and when they could return.

5. Marlon Pack
The skipper is also expected to miss the start of the season after going under the knife last week to sort a knee problem. The procedure will keep Pack sidelined for up to six weeks, meaning the midfielder will sit out the opening weeks of the campaign. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages

6. Jacob Farrell
Farrell has endured an injury-raveged two-year stay at Fratton Park following his 2024 arrival. Having featured just three times during that time, the left-back recently suffered a fresh blow in his recovery from a groin issue. The setback will force the Aussie to miss eight weeks of action, which will also hamper any potential departure this summer. | Paul Phelan/ProSportsImages

8. Keshi Anderson
The winger, who suffered two separate hamstring issues last term following his January arrival, tore his quad during Pompey’s pre-season camp at Fota Island earlier this month. Anderson has now been pencilled in to miss at least three months of action, meaning a return in October is likely for the 30-year-old. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
