Excitement as signs appear for new Burger King in Gosport
New Burger King ‘coming soon’
A fast-food restaurant is ‘coming soon’ to a long-vacant building in Gosport.
The Burger King will be opening Fareham Trade Park on Lederle Lane with signs now erected on the exterior of the building. As well as having dining-in option the new branch also has a drive-thru lane for those wanting to eat on the go.
The building has long been vacant after Canadian coffee chain Tim Horton’s were granted permission to open there in early 2023. However, progress stalled and the plans never came to fruition with Burger King then securing the site. The American fast food giant gained planning permission to install signs at the unit which are now on display.
No opening date has been confirmed as of yet.
Last month a Burger King spokesperson said: “Burger King® UK can confirm that Fareham Trade Park, Gosport, will become a new home to the Whopper®, opening its doors in the near future. Stay tuned for more details around the opening date.”
