Burger King confirms it is opening in Gosport in the 'near future' after receiving planning permission

A global fast-food chain has confirmed it will be opening in Gosport soon.

Burger King will be opening in the building in Fareham Trade Park on Lederle Lane in the “near future”. Earlier this year the company received planning permission to install advertising signs at the unit.

While no opening date has been confirmed, the American fast-food chain has confirmed it will be opening at the site soon.

A Burger King spokesperson said: “Burger King® UK can confirm that Fareham Trade Park, Gosport, will become a new home to the Whopper®, opening its doors in the near future. Stay tuned for more details around the opening date.”

The building has long been vacant after Canadian coffee chain Tim Horton’s were granted permission to open there in early 2023. However progress stalled and the plans never came to fruition with Burger King then securing the site.
