However progress stalled and the plans never came to fruition with Burger King now moving to secure the site.

The planning application shows that it is seeking to install both illuminated and non-illuminated signs, including one with its tradition bun logo and another with the words ‘Flame grilling since 1954’.

Residents are able to provide their feedback and concerns on the plans with the full application available on the Gosport Borough Council’s planning portal. The reference for the planning application is 26/00069/ADVT.
