The new shop, which joins Basingstoke and Winchester in the company’s Hampshire portfolio, was announced at the start of the year, with it open date confirmed last month.
Whiteley Shopping Centre said: “The much‑loved Scandinavian homeware brand officially opened its doors today at Whiteley Shopping Centre.
“The first visitors were treated to special opening‑day gifts. Inside, the store offers Søstrene Grene’s signature mix of minimalist décor, kitchenware, crafts, soft furnishings, and ever‑changing seasonal collections — all designed to bring a little calm, creativity, and Scandinavian charm into everyday life.”
The fresh faced store is one of many changes at the shopping centre as it prepares to welcome Amparo Lounge, which will occupy the previous Frankie & Benny’s unit, and a new Wetherspoons set to open this spring.
Mikkel Grene, Group CEO and Co-owner of Søstrene Grene, previously said: “Our stores are designed to inspire creativity and offer a calm, enjoyable shopping experience, where people can discover thoughtfully created homewares. Opening our third store in Hampshire reflects
our commitment to making beautiful products that are accessible and part of everyday life and we look forward to welcoming the local community of Fareham to Søstrene Grene.”
