“We’re excited to announce" - delight as Scandinavian homeware store's opening date revealed for Whiteley
The opening date of a popular Scandinavian homeware store has been announced for Whiteley.
Søstrene Grene, a Danish store which sells a range of homeware, kitchen essentials, craft supplies, soft furnishings and seasonal décor, will open its doors on Friday, March 13. To celebrate the opening the first 100 customers will receive a voucher for a cosy throw.
Whiteley Shopping Centre confirmed the opening date on social media.
The post said: “We’re excited to announce that Søstrene Grene will officially open its doors on Friday 13th March. Step into a world of Scandinavian design, home décor inspiration, creative crafts, kitchen essentials, and beautiful everyday treasures — all curated with the signature Søstrene Grene charm.
“To celebrate, the first 100 visitors will receive an exclusive voucher for a cosy throw — the perfect way to bring a little hygge into your home. Be sure to arrive early, explore the new store, and soak up the opening‑day excitement.”
It will be the company’s third store in Hampshire following the successful openings of branches in Basingstoke and Winchester.
