Work commences at former Jurassic Grill in Whiteley as new Wetherspoons prepares to open
Work has started at a closed dinosaur themed restaurant to transform the vacant site into a popular pub chain.
The new venue will be the first pub to open at the shopping centre, with renovation work now in full swing.

Mia Gordon, centre manager at Whiteley, previously said: “JD Wetherspoon is a well-known and much-loved brand, and its arrival will be a great addition to our food and drinks offering.
“There’s already a lot of excitement locally, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors when the pub opens this spring.
“It will enhance Whiteley’s vibrant leisure scene, providing another welcoming space for people to meet, relax and spend time together.”
Wetherspoon spokesperson Eddie Gershon added: “We are pleased that development work on the new Wetherspoon in Fareham is set to start in early February.
“We look forward to opening the pub and believe it will be a great addition to the area’s social scene.”
