DNA Vintage to close in Gosport High Street as it focuses on online only sales
The owners of an independent vintage clothing store in Gosport have announced they are the closing the shop as they focuses on online sales.
Dylan Daly and Anna-Rose Mordawska opened DNA Vintage on the High Street in June 2025 stocking a range of fashion items from the 90s and noughties. The closure was announced on social media with the final opening day taking place on Saturday, April 11.
The duo have insisted that “this isn’t the end” with their online platform growing quickly over the past month with the physical store “no longer making sense”.

A post on Facebook said: “We’re really sad to say that DNA Vintage will be closing its shop doors. This hasn’t been an easy decision at all. Having a shop has given us the most amazing opportunity to grow, and honestly, we wouldn’t be where we are online without it.
“We’re so, so grateful for every single person who has come in, supported us, and shown love. It truly means everything to us. But as a small business, we have to make the right decisions for our future, and financially it no longer makes sense for us to stay on the high street. Moving fully online is the best step for us and for the growth of DNA Vintage.”
DNA Vintage hold live sales on TikTok most evenings selling clothing via auction which start from £1. The owners are planning to still be a presence on the high street with pop-ups, events and market stalls.
The post continued: “Thank you again for everything — this shop has meant so much to us, and so have all of you.”
