Portsmouth and the surrounding areas have a number of fantastic events ready to get people in the festive spirit.

Here is a list of all the local events announced to be taking place, or that have taken place, over the next month.
9. Southsea

10. Cosham
The Christmas lights were switched on in Cosham High Street on Friday, November 21. It featured traditional Christmas vibes with carols around the tree, music, lights with the Resonate choir and Charlalas. | Sarah Standing

The Commercial Road light switch was held on Saturday, November 22. For a second year in a row the event was been moved into Cascades Shopping Centre due to adverse weather. | Marcin Jedrysiak
