The League Two finale saw Paul Cook’s side clinch the title at Fratton Park after pipping Plymouth and Doncaster Rovers to the post.
A seven goal thriller was played out at PO4 as Pompey ran out 6-1 winners over the Robins.
Goals from Kyle Bennett, Kal Naismith (2), Jamal Lowe, Gareth Evans and aDaniel O'Shaughnessy OG saw the Blues’ four season spell in England's lowest professional tier come to an end.
We take a look at the starting 11 from that day and where they’re now.

5. Matt Clarke: 175 appearances
Arguably one of the best players to play for Pompey in recent history, Clarke won the League Two title, as well as the EFL Trophy and Player of the Year twice. He made a big money move to Brighton in 2019 where he is yet to make an appearance but has since had two successful loan spells at Derby before being loaned out to West Brom for this campaign. 6. Enda Stevens: 99 appearances
Undoubtedly one of the most underrated players in this team saw Enda Stevens play 99 times for Pompey and is another one to win a Player Of The Year award in his spell at the club. The left-back left on a free in 2017 and has since won promotion to the Premier League with Sheffield United,. The 31-year-old is still at the Blades in the Championship and has regularly been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad. Photo: Joe Pepler

7. Michael Doyle: 96 appearances
Doyle was made captain when he signed for the club and was a prominent figure in the dressing room. After leading Pompey to the League Two title, the Irishman returned to Coventry and helped them to promotion from the same division. Doyle retired earlier this year following a spell at Notts County where the 40 year old is now assistant head coach. Picture: Joe Pepler Photo: Joe Pepler

8. Danny Rose: 64 appearances
He helped Pompey win League Two in his first season in PO4 and was able to build a strong partnership with Michael Doyle in midfield. After infrequent game time when Kenny Jackett arrived, Rose left for Swindon before joining Grimsby. Following relegation with to the National League with the Mariners, the 33-year-old fell out of favour with boss Paul Hirst and is now on loan at National League North side Darlington.
