17. Jacob Bedeau
In May Pompey were said to be interested in 21-year-old defende, after playing 45 times for Scunthorpe last season. The former Aston Villa defender had interest in multiple League One clubs but chose to move to the Premier League with Bedeau with Burnley, where he's featuring for the under-23 team in the PL2. Pompey were a number of clubs who were in pursuit of AFC Wimbledon’s top scorer last season, where he scored 22 goals in 54 appearances. The free agent who left the Wombles at the end of last season turned down Danny Cowley and Pompey to work with Paul Cook at Ipswich. 19. Dylan Bahamboula
Congo international Dylan Bahamboula attracted reported interest in June, after contributing to 14 goals in 38 appearances for Oldham last season. 20. George Johnston
Interest in the former Liverpool Academy player is said to have started in April, when Danny Cowley said fees would be made available for the right people. Johnston spent last season on loan at Wigan before leaving Feyenoord for Bolton - putting the talk to bed.
