5. Harvey Rew - left-back
With Lee Brown Pompey's only senior left-back at the moment, Kenny Jackett is not likely to risk his vice-captain at London Road. That means the Gosport lad could be given the chance to add to his appearance against West Ham under-21s in the group stage. Photo: Robin Jones

6. Ben Close - central-midfield
The midfielder hasn't started a league game since Plymouth away on November 16. He'll likely accompany Bryn Morris is the centre of midfield in a 4-2-3-1 formation and will be keen to impress as he tries to regain the manager's faith amid talk of midfield reinforcements this month. 7. Bryn Morris - central-midfield
As Andy Cannon's stock rises, Morris' has gone the other direction. A favourite of the manager's at the start of the season, he hasn't featured in the league since Oxford on November 24. He needs game time, though, and tonight's match will provide that. Photo: Jason Brown

8. Harrison Brook - right-wing
With Marcus Harness and Ryan Williams needed for forthcoming league games, the 17-year-old could be handed his first start, after making a substitute appearance against the Hammers' youngsters. Photo: Robin Jones
