Pompey are back in Championship action this weekend as they make the trip to bottom-of-the-table Sheffield Wednesday.
The Blues will be searching for maximum points at Hillsborough to move clear of the relegation zone following their 5-0 defeat to Bristol City last time out in the league.
However, John Mousinho will be without nine players for the journey to the Steel City as injuries continue to hamper his squad.
Harvey Blair and Franco Umeh were the latest to join the growing list of absentees, while there will be some relief out wide following the arrival of Millenic Alli on Wednesday.
We’ve taken a look at the latest injury situation at Fratton Park and when fans can expect members of Mousinho’s side to return.

2. Mark Kosznovszky
The Hungarian talent sustained a torn ACL and MCL late in the triumph against Charlton Athletic at the end of December. Mousinho confirmed the midfielder will now miss the remainder of the season and is expected to be sidelined for 9-12 months. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

3. Harvey Blair
It’s been a stop-start season for the 2024 arrival, who has featured just eight times this term due to injury. Blair has been growing in confidence in recent weeks and caused Arsenal issues in Sunday’s FA Cup tie before picking up a hip-flexor issue just 37 minutes into the contest. The winger is now set to miss three weeks of action, meaning he could return in the first week of February. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

4. Callum Lang
Lang has been frustrated with injuries this season, with a hamstring issue forcing him to undergo surgery at the beginning of the campaign. Despite scoring two goals in his four appearances upon his return, the attacker suffered a fresh hamstring set-back in his other leg following their Boxing Day draw with QPR. Mousinho has revealed the 27-year-old is still 3-4 weeks away from a return, although the Fratton faithful spotted a fitness clue on social media on Thursday. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
