Supended duo Andre Dozzell and Callum Lang means he’ll have to reshuffle his pack slightly after making minimal changes to his starting XI in recent games as the Blues show the type of form that could get them out of relegation trouble.
Both players are important cogs in the Pompey machine and have formed part of the spine that has served the Blues well since defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Despite a continuously lengthy injury list added to by Mark O’Mahony this week, Mousinho does have options. The question is: who does he turn to as he looks to carry forward the momentum that has been slowly bulding at Fratton Park?
Here’s what we think the head coach will do for tonight’s game.

9. Right-wing: Matt Ritchie
The Gsport-born ace has emerged as Pompey's heartbeat after a low-profile start to his Fratton Park return. His experience and leadership will be important tonight - especially with Terry Devlin facing the task of keeping the division's top scorer, Borja Sainz, quiet. | National World

10. Attacking midfielder: Paddy Lane
The forward gets the unenviable task of filling in for the suspended Callum Lang at the expense of the unfortunte Christian Saydee. It will represent the 23-year-old's first start since defeat to Cardiff in October. Lane has struggled to repeat the heroics he produced last season, but we all know what he's capable off. Tonight could be the night he reminds the Fratton faithful what he's all about. | National World

11. Left-wing: Josh Murphy
Four goals and two assists in his past five games says it all really. An interesting battle with the experienced Jack Stacey lies in wait. But on current form, Murphy should be feeling confident. | National World

12. Centre-forward: Colby Bishop
Pompey simply look a far better attacking force with Bishop back in the side. Two goals and an assist since he returned after heart surgery proves his importance. Substituted after 78 minutes against Bristol City also shows John Mousinho wanted him fresh for tonight's game against the Canaries. | National World
