Pompey set for key backroom exit
The article has stated the 42-year-old's departure is amicable, with Pompey set to begin the search for his replacement.
Rehman arrived on the south coast in 2022 as academy’s lead professional development phase coach during Danny Cowley’s time at the club.
Following the head coach’s exit in January 2023, the former Pakistan international stepped up to take charge on an interim basis alongside Simon Bassey for games against Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur.
The ex-QPR and Bradford City man remained with the first-team before being appointed development coach after Mousinho’s appointment at the start of 2023.

Rehman has been a regular fixture in the dugout alongside the Blues boss, with Jon Harley and Joe Prodomo, helping to guide Pompey to League One title glory along with Championship survival last term.
Mousinho’s men make the trip to Derby County on Saturday afternoon before home games against QPR and Charlton Athletic.
