£5m attacker completes surprise switch after collapsed Portsmouth deadline day move
Swansea City winger Zeidane Inoussa’s move to Pompey fell through on deadline day.
Zeidane Inoussa has finally completed his Swansea City exit after two failed attempts.
The winger’s future has been under the spotlight in recent weeks, with Vitor Matos giving the green light for the Swans to sanction a departure - just 14 months after his £5m arrival from Swedish side BK Hacken.
The out-of-favour attacker was heavily linked with a switch to Fratton Park in the closing stages of the summer window as John Mousinho looked to bolster his front-line.

Pompey linked-attacker seals Swansea exit
But the Swedish youth international has finally secured his south Wales exit, completing a temporary switch to Polish top-flight side Gornik Zabrze.
The attacker has penned a season-long loan with the Górnicy, who currently top the Ekstraklasa after the opening seven matches.
And Matos is delighted the Pompey-linked man was able to seal his departure after his failed Fratton Park move earlier this month.
Speaking to BBC Radio Wales, the Swansea boss said: ‘We hope he makes an impact (at Gornik Zabrze).
‘He's a wonderful kid, a really good professional. He just needs game-time and consistency in playing.
‘I think that's what he wants as well so it's a good option in terms of finding that. We are here for him and hopefully everything goes right.’
Zeidane Inoussa collapsed Pompey deal

Having made the £5m switch from BK Hacken in July 2025, Inoussa struggled to adapt to Championship football and collected just three goal contributions in 29 outings in all competitions.
However, the winger would miss the final four months of the campaign due to a back fracture, with his last appearance coming in January.
The multi-million pound attacker, however, fell down Matos’ pecking order, with the head coach leaving the door open to a late-window exit.
After Inoussa’s Fratton Park deal fell through, Mousinho did bolster his attacking department ahead of the deadline following the arrival of Tyrese Shade.
The versatile forward arrived on a permanent basis from Burton Albion after the Blues agreed a £1.8m deal with the League One outfit, with the agreement potentially rising to £2.2m in add ons.
