Marko Milovanovic provides intriguing transfer hint as wait for landmark €5m Portsmouth deal continues
Pompey are closing in on the landmark capture of Marko Milovanovic.
The wait continues for the landmark arrival of Marko Milovanovic, which has left the Fratton faithful on tenterhooks.
A fee has already been agreed with UD Almeria, personal terms signed off and medical complete, but there still remains no news over his imminent signing.
In this case, the delay isn’t a result of ongoing transfer negotiations, sticking points, or cold feet from either party.

Marko Milovanovic drops further hints over imminent move
While some supporters are concerned by the time it’s taken for the club to announce the €5m capture, the striker, who is also known as Marezi, has hinted a deal is close to completion.
After news of Pompey’s interest broke last month, Milovanovic was quick to follow the Blues on Instagram - something which often doesn’t happen until after a deal has been completed.
Although the 22-year-old is still yet to be announced, he’s continued to drop further hints on his social media.
Marezi has since followed seven members of John Mousinho’s squad on Instagram, including Adrian Segecic, Terry Devlin, Harvey Blair, Nicolas Schmid, Josh Murphy, new signing Rocco Shein and captain Marlon Pack.
His movement on social media will no doubt provide further indication that a deal is slowly edging towards its conclusion as the Blues look to finally wrap up the landmark capture.

Pompey have since agreed a deal, starting at €3.5m, with Spanish side UD Almeria before that fee increases to €5m after add ons.
His signing will represent the highest fee paid by the Blues for a player since the Premier League days as owners Tornante flex their financial muscle in the Championship.
Rocco Shein’s £2.1m arrival and Hayden Matthews’ £1.25m capture will be eclipsed by Marezi, who will bolster Mousinho’s frontline next term.
Pompey’s current attacking options

A new number nine has been top of the Blues’ shopping list this summer after their goalscoring issues last season.
Colby Bishop netted just three league goals, while fellow striker Makenzie Kirk scored just once in his maiden Fratton campaign.
With Milovanovic poised to complete his switch, the Serbian will join Bishop and Waddingham in the ranks following Kirk’s exit earlier this month.
The 22-year-old recently joined League One outfit Barnsley on a season-long loan, having featured just 16 times for the Blues last term.
