Championship football is back on the agenda after the two-week international break and the season’s climax is on the horizon.
Pompey make the trip to Norfolk on Friday to face 10th-placed Norwich City bidding to move clear of the relegation zone at a crucial time of the campaign.
The fight for survival is well-and-truly on, with the Blues sitting just one point above the bottom three - but do hold a game in hand on their rivals.
John Mousinho will be looking for a much-improved showing from his troops, having slumped to a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of QPR last-time out.
The Blues will, though, be without Ebou Adams, who is expected to miss the next three matches with a knee issue, while Keshi Anderson is poised to complete his comeback from a hamstring injury.
Here’s how we think Mousinho’s men could line-up at Carrow Road on Friday hoping for a valuable three points.

5. CB: Conor Shaughnessy
Shaughnessy returned to the starting XI for the first time since January last-time out to partner Poole in the backline. Despite the unravelling at Loftus Road, the duo are Pompey's best central defensive partnership and have to start, when fit. | Getty Images

7. CM: Marlon Pack
Pompey are going to need to utilise the skipper's outstanding experience in the run-in to ensure they beat the drop. With Pack and Luke Le Roux offering similar attributes, while the captain's partnership with John Swift last-time out failed to impress, we could see the head coach turn to a new partnership at Carrow Road. | Chris Foxwell/ProSportsImages

8. CM: Terry Devlin
The 22-year-old enjoyed a successful stint with Northern Ireland during the international break. There have been calls for the full-back to move into midfield, given his outstanding durability and ability to run be a threat in both boxes. Given Adams' injury, only Luke Le Roux remains to partner Marlon Pack, however that is very defensively minded. This could mean we see a slight rejig in the engine room. | Getty Images
