The six Portsmouth players jetting off on international duty - and where they’ll be playing
Pompey will have 6 representatives on international duty in the coming weeks.
Pompey’s Championship campaign has ground to a temporary halt as international football takes over.
Following Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Blackburn Rovers, the Blues now face a three-week wait before league action resumes, with the south-coast derby against Southampton up next.
John Mousinho’s troops make the short trip across the M27 on Sunday, October 11, hoping to secure their first win at St Mary’s in 16 years.

In the meantime, six members of the head coach’s squad will be away from Pompey’s Hilsea training base in the coming weeks as they link up with their respective nations.
We’ve taken a look at the current players who will be on international duty in the latest stoppage.
Ebou Adams - Gambia
The General has had an impactful start to the campaign at Fratton Park, notching up a number of solid displays in the engine room.
Adams has been an ever-present for the Blues this season, featuring in all seven Championship matches this term - although he has largely had to settle with substitute appearances.
The 30-year-old has been selected to once again represent Gambia in the latest international stoppage by head coach and Northern Irishman Johnathan McKinstry.
Africa Cup of Nations action takes precedence for the Scorpions, who face Somalia (September 25) and Ghana (September 29) in their first two qualifying matches.
Adams will likely be one of the first players to return to Pompey, with Gambia only playing twice in three weeks.
Iyad Mohamed - Comoros
Mousinho has been easing Mohamed into his squad since his summer arrival as he adjusts to Championship football.
The midfielder has been limited to just three outings from the bench this term and came on for three minutes against Blackburn on the weekend.
However, the 25-year-old will be away on international duty, having been selected in Hubert Velud’s 24-man squad.
Comoros are also in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying action and face Cameron (September 24) and Namibia (September 29).

Adrian Segecic - Croatia U21
Segecic was overlooed by new Croatia boss Slavan Bilic for the latest round of international fixtures, with the ex-West Ham man opting not to call up any under-21 players for his first camp in charge.
The attacking midfielder has had a strong start to the season, netting on two occasions, and has once again been called up to the U21 side following his switch of allegiance earlier this year.
Ivica Olić’s side will play three times in the international break, with games against Hungary (September 26), Ukraine (October 2) and Lithuania (October 6) in the latest round of European Championship qualifiers.
Terry Devlin - Northern Ireland
After a slow start to the season, Devlin dropped to the bench against Blackburn on Saturday and remained an unused substitute for the 2-2 draw.
The right-back, however, has retained his spot in Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland squad, who have one of the busiest schedules during the international break.
The Green and White Army are in action four times in the coming weeks, with the head coach naming the Pompey defender in a 28-player panel.
Northern Ireland take on Georgia (September 25), Hungary (September 28) and Ukraine (October 2) before facing Georgia once again on October 5 in the Nations League B2.
Ryan Kavuma-McQueen - England U18
After setting up Colby Bishop’s equaliser against Blackburn on Saturday, the winger heads into the international break on a high and has been rewarded with a step up to England’s U18s.
Having impressed in his age category (U17s), the 17-year-old has been selected by head coach Will Antwi for the U18’s fixtures against Colombia (September 24), Egypt (September 27) and South Korea (September 30) before a fourth opponent will be announced.

Eoin Kenny - Northern Ireland U21
Kenny, whose game time has been limited since his summer arrival as Mousinho eases him into men’s football, will also be away on international duty in the coming weeks.
The young attacker has been included in Tommy Wright’s 24-man squad for Northern Ireland’s U21s camp for their European Championship qualifiers.
The 21-year-old and his fellow young Green and White Army will play Malta (September 26), Georgia (October 1) and round off their schedule at home to Greece on October 6.
Kenny has been joined in the squad by fellow Fratton Park team-mate Makenzie Kirk, who is currently on loan with League One Barnsley.
