Chelsea loanee Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has scored one goal and collected one assist for Pompey.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has enjoyed an electric start to senior football with Pompey, with the Fratton faithful taking to social media to express their delight at the Chelsea loanee’s stay so far.

The 17-year-old has been a key figure in John Mousinho’s front-line since his summer arrival, featuring in all opening seven Championship matches - of which four have come from the start.

The winger has rewarded the head coach’s show of faith, netting one goal and collecting one assist despite playing with two hand fractures, helping his stock continue to grow.

Indeed, an outstanding display against Blackburn Rovers represented yet another strong performance, which saw him total 10 shots as well as setting up Colby Bishop for the Blues’ equaliser.

And after his brilliant introduction at Fratton Park, Pompey and Chelsea faithfuls are tipped Kavuma-McQueen with a strong future as he continues to make his mark in senior football.

Exciting Pompey & Chelsea verdict on starlet

@Yourscore_App_: Big things coming for Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.

@Pompey_Goals: Can’t wait to tell my grandkids Ballon D’or winner Kavuma-McQueen played for Pompey. I was like Rio Ferdinand every time he touch the ball yesterday what a player gets me off my seat every time he’s on the ball.

@FinnX29: Ryan Kavuma-McQueen you have changed my life

@Ruffy_Roy: He is a brilliant talent. My only criticism yesterday (against Blackburn) was shooting on sight rather than passing. That’will come with experience and coaching to make the right decisions in key moments, but for now, one of the most exciting players to watch. He has a great future ahead of him.

@PortsmouthFC_FR: Ryan Kavuma-McQueen. Remember the name (what a name btw). Different gravy.

@stocksandalpha: The first name on our teamsheet should be Kavuma-McQueen, a 17 year old...

@PompeyTdog: Kavuma McQueen is going to the very top, what a player, our best player. Extremely lucky to have him this season.

@the_real_gart: He’s excellent, he’ll play for England.

@OSO_Tee: Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has a frightening ability to take on his man or take a shot, frightening inability to complete a take-on or give a pass to his teammate. He'll grow and get better, maybe Premier League level in 3 years.

@cfcriley2: Really good game from Kavuma-McQueen, who is quickly becoming a fan favourite at Pompey.

@whcallum: I've no doubts Kavuma-Mcqueen makes it into an excellent premier league footballer, he clearly is blessed with ridiculous talent, but the desire is massive, can see his lack of Ego from his play too, big big fan.

@reece_w99: Tbf looked like it was in anyway so not that lucky. How we ever got Kavuma-McQueen i will never ever know. Absolute joke for 17. Hope Chelsea look after his career a bit better than the majority of players they send out on loan.

@AdlerPaz: Kavuma-McQueen is way too good, right? Top-tier talent there.

@beastieblue: Kavuma-McQueen is going to be an epic player.
