Cardiff defender Krystian Bielik hit with FA charge after incident with young Portsmouth supporter
The incident happened on September 5 during the Blues’ 2-0 win over Cardiff at Fratton Park
The FA have charged Cardiff’s Krystian Bielik with misconduct following an incident with a Pompey fan.

Bielik was not punished by referee Ben Speedie following the 72nd-minute incident in front of the South Stand, although the Pompey fan was shown out of the stadium by match-day stewards.
However, the FA have now charged Bielik, who has until September 25 (Friday) to provide a response.
An FA statement said: ‘Cardiff City's Krystian Bielik has been charged with misconduct following the EFL Championship game against Portsmouth on 5 September.
‘It's alleged that the player acted in an improper manner around the 71st minute of the match.
‘Krystian Bielik has until 25 September to provide a response.’
At the time, Bluebirds head coach Brian Barry-Murphy afterwards claimed Bielik was ‘slapped in the face’, while footage on social media appears to show the footballer grabbing the youngster around his upper body.
A subsequent statement from Pompey said:‘Portsmouth Football Club are aware of supporter concerns regarding the incident involving a young fan and an opposition player at yesterday’s match at Fratton Park.
‘As this remains a safeguarding matter and is currently under investigation by both the club and the police, it would be inappropriate for us to comment further on the circumstances at this time.
‘However, we are aware that a number of claims and assertions are circulating on social media. We would urge caution against speculation while enquiries are ongoing.
‘The welfare and safeguarding of young people are of paramount importance to Portsmouth Football Club.
‘We will continue to liaise with the relevant parties as enquiries progress. No further comment will be made at this stage while investigations remain ongoing.’
