Pompey are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they face newly-promoted Lincoln City at Sincil Bank.
The Blues will be looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to QPR last weekend, which leaves John Mousinho’s men in the relegation zone after the opening round of fixtures.
The Imps, now under joint-managers Tom Shaw and Chris Cohen, will also be targeting their first three points of the season after suffering a 2-1 reverse to Middlesbrough.
Pompey were without a number of key players for their Championship curtain raiser, with Mousinho expected to provide fresh updates on his current crop of absentees in his pre-match press conference later this week.
We’ve taken a look at the early team and injury news from both camps ahead of this Saturday’s contest at Sincil Bank.

5. Harvey Blair - Doubt
Blair suffered a hip issue in the warm-up against Darmstadt at the end of July, which ruled him out of the games against West Ham and QPR. The winger's future appears to lie away from Fratton Park, with Mousinho open to sanctioning an exit this summer for the 2024 arrival. It remains to be seen whether the forward will be fit enough to feature against Lincoln this weekend. | Pro Sports Images

6. Thomas Waddingham - Out
Waddingham is expected to miss 6-10 weeks after suffering a serious ankle injury against West Ham. Should the Aussie require surgery then that timeframe will increase. It was a frustrating blow for the striker, who was in good form during pre-season. | Pro Sports Images

7. James Collins - Out
Collins has been sidelined for more than eight months after undergoing knee surgery following a serious injury sustained in early December. The experienced striker remains out of action as he continues his lengthy recovery. | Getty Images

8. Connor Ogilvie - Out
Mousinho is yet to confirm a return date for the left-back, who underwent knee surgery in July. The head coach revealed Ogilvie was still feeling some pain, representing a huge blow in his recovery. | Portsmouth FC
