Derby County v Portsmouth: Early team and injury news as 12 out and 1 doubt for Pride Park showdown

Pompey kick start the festive period with a trip to Derby County this afternoon.

The Blues will be aiming to earn successive victories for the first time this season in the Championship following last Saturday’s 2-1 triumph over Blackburn Rovers.

The visit to Pride Park begins a tough period for John Mousinho’s men who then face QPR on Boxing Day before contests against Charlton Athletic, Bristol City and Ipswich Town.

The Rams have enjoyed a solid start to the season and sit in mid-table following Monday’s 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday and are 10 points above Pompey.

We’ve taken a look at the early team and injury news from both camps ahead this afternoon’s contest.
