Pompey ended their pre-season friendly schedule with a goalless draw at SV Darmstadt.
The German club’s keeper Marcel Schuhen kept his side in it during the first half, while Colby Bishop also hit the post after seven minutes.
However, there was nothing to separate the sides after the break with very little goal action at either end.

9. Luke Brooke-Smith - 7
(Replaced by Eoin Kenny on 46 mins) A first outing for the Blues’ most recent signing and he operated on the left wing. Coped well physically and made good use of the ball when presented with it. Really encouraging debut. | Portsmouth FC
