Pompey ended their pre-season friendly schedule with a goalless draw at SV Darmstadt.
The German club’s keeper Marcel Schuhen kept his side in it during the first half, while Colby Bishop also hit the post after seven minutes.
However, there was nothing to separate the sides after the break with very little goal action at either end.
And here are our Pompey player ratings...

2. Nicolas Schmid - 7
Had very little to do other than one save late in the game which was right at him. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
3. Terry Devlin - 8 - Man of the Match
(Replaced by Madiodio Dia on 62 mins) A huge plus for the Blues. Great start to the game, providing right-wing crosses which saw Shein’s shot saved and also a Bishop header which struck the post. Looked back to his usual self with his best friendly display of the summer.
4. Regan Poole - 7
(Replaced by Josh Knight on 82 mins) Produced one excellent first-half block to deny a Darmstadt player a shooting opportunity. Comfortable afternoon overall. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
