Trailing 2-0 in a poor showing, the Blues netted twice in three second-half minutes to level in a 2-2 scoreline which, nonetheless, was disappointing.
Few can emerge with any credit from a performance which also included a missed Colby Bishop penalty, but there were some noteworthy showings and here are out on-the-whistle player ratings...
13. Reeco Hackett - 5
Tried on both flanks, but nothing came off as he frustratingly failed to sparkle. Needed to get involved far more, although super save from Aidan Stone in stoppage time prevented him winning it for Blues. Photo: National World

15. Michael Jacobs - 7 - MOM
(Replaced Paddy Lane on 35 minutes) 35 mins Michael Jacobs - Showed the only bit of class in the game when he chested the ball down and then struck the equaliser in front of the Fratton End. Deserves man of the match for that alone. Photo: National World
16. Clark Robertson - 6
(Replaced Ryley Towler on 46 minutes) Gave Mousinho what he wanted, with extra physical presence, while always a useful outlet on the ball. Far more comfortable than his Bournemouth midweek showing. Photo: National World
