Trailing 2-0 in a poor showing, the Blues netted twice in three second-half minutes to level in a 2-2 scoreline which, nonetheless, was disappointing.
Few can emerge with any credit from a performance which also included a missed Colby Bishop penalty, but there were some noteworthy showings and here are out on-the-whistle player ratings...

9. Louis Thompson - 6
(Replaced by Tom Lowery on 55 minutes) One of the better performers, with several excellent interceptions in the first half, but sacrificed with more attacking drive required with Blues 2-0 down . Photo: National World

10. Owen Dale - 5
Initially the number 10 and then switched to the wing following Lane’s injury. As industrious and energetic as ever but another one clearly below par. Photo: National World

11. Paddy Lane - 6
(Replaced by Michel Jacobs on 35 minutes) Was the livelier of Pompey’s attacking players early on until his injury, yet admittedly the bar was low. Injured during an aerial dual while attempting to connect with a high Tunnicliffe pass. Photo: National World

12. Colby Bishop - 6
One awful penalty and then had the guts to take another, which he scored from. Not given too much service, but that first-half penalty summed up Pompey’s display. Not at his best. Photo: NationalWorld
