Including the five loanees, 18 players see their commitments to the Blues at an end.
Of course, there could also be movement in the January window on both temporary and permanent additions as Danny Cowley rehapes his squad.
We’ve assessed how things stand with those players whose deals are due to come to a close.

13. Michael Jacobs
Signed a performance-based agreement with a basic wage topped up with incentives. Everyone knows how much of an impact a fit Michael Jacobs can make, but has been limited to 12 appearances, six starts and has been sidelined since October. Next few months will be key, but if he does go a return to Northampton, where he started his career, could be his next move. Photo: Jason Brown

14. Ryan Tunnicliffe
Looked to be on his way in the summer, but has come back into contention in recent weeks. The reality is it’s unlikely to see the midfielder stay beyond the summer and could well leave before if there’s interest. Photo: Jason Brown

15. Louis Thompson
Had an excellent season last term, after well-publicised injury issues. Progress came to a half after breaking his leg following a lunge by Bristol Rovers’ Glenn Whelan in August. Has rehabbed ahead of schedule and anything like his form last term in the new year, will lead to the midfielder being wanted. Photo: Simon Roe

16. Kieron Freeman
Was viewed as quite a high profile arrival to pre-season training last year, after leaving Swansea last year. Signed a two-year deal with a club option for a third, but has been out of favour and heavily linked with an exit. If he’s here next summer, he’ll likely be on his way. Photo: Simon Davies
