The Blues came back from Jack Marriott’s fifth-minute goal with Dane Scarlett striking twice to lead them to a fifth win from their opening seven League One fixtures.
There were some excellent performances from Danny Cowley’s men – and here are our ratings...
9. Ronan Curtis - 8
(Substituted for Josh Koroma on 66 minutes). Went close with great early shot and almost scored with header from close range in really good first half. Bit quieter after the break but can be pleased with showing. Photo: National World
10. Colby Bishop - 7
(Replaced by Jay Mingi on 82 minutes). Presented with little opportunity in front of goal, yet ran himself into the ground, strong in the air and links up play so well. Photo: NationalWorld
11. Dane Scarlett - 9 - Man of the Match
(Replaced by Joe Pigott on 76 minutes). That’s now four goals in eight days from the talented youngster who has proven an early-season revelation. A goal in each half, both opportunist efforts. Photo: NationalWorld
12. Reeco Hackett - 6
(Replaced Owen Dale in the 66th minute). Provided one great moment to lead the charge from stoppage time corner with keeper out of his goal, but couldn’t capitalise. Photo: NationalWord
