Pompey’s League One campaign at Fratton Park began this afternoon against Lincoln.

The Blues hosted Mark Kennedy’s side seeking to build on their encouraging draw at Sheffield – and claimed a disappointing goalless draw against the Imps.

Here are our player ratings from today’s south-coast encounter...

5. Connor Ogilvie - 6

Never lets Pompey down and kept his flank tight, but not great in attacking terms. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown

6. Marlon Pack - 8 - Man of the Match

A few flashes of true class and overall another composed showing. Controlled and in command. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown

7. Louis Thompson - 6

Another strong midfield showing but Blues needed a bit more pace and drive in there. Replaced by Jay Mingi on 70 mins. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown

8. Michael Jacobs - 6

Looked the only Pompey player capable of creating, yet even then he frustratingly couldn’t unlock the Imps’ defence. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown
