Pompey’s League One campaign at Fratton Park began this afternoon against Lincoln.

The Blues hosted Mark Kennedy’s side seeking to build on their encouraging draw at Sheffield – and claimed a disappointing goalless draw against the Imps.

Here are our player ratings from today’s south-coast encounter...

1. Josh Griffiths - 7

Had barely anything to deal with, although deserves credit for better kicking than at Sheffield Wednesday. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown

2. Joe Rafferty - 6

Solid defensively, yet saw little of him as attacking presence down right flank. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown

3. Michael Morrison - 7

Assured and one brilliant first-half block. Beginning to show encouraging range of passing at times too. Picture: Steve Ellis Photo: Steve Ellis

4. Sean Raggett - 7

Refused to let anything past as the Imps were smothered. Did his job as efficiently as ever. Picture: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages Photo: Jason Brown
