36 wonderfully wintry pictures of snow in Hampshire following an unexpected shower

Although we haven’t been faced with blankets of thick snow, the dusting we have received has caused quite a stir, with people sharing their favourite wintry pictures and videos across social media.

The Met Office’s weather forecast says: “Any early cloud and isolated snow showers clearing east, then most places dry and bright for the remainder of the day, with long sunny spells. Cold. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

Tonight will see temperatures drop with a minimum of -7 degrees and “a hard frost” and “risk of ice” expected.
