M27 and M3 closures: Drivers warned about overnight motorway work in south Hampshire
Drivers have been warned about a series of motorway closures in south Hampshire tonight
There are several overnight closures on motorways planned in Hampshire tonight. This is what National Highways has planned.
M27 eastbound and westbound
The slip roads on and off the motorway at Junction 10 are closed as part of the junction improvement works ahead of the new town of Welborne being finished.
The junctions will be closed from 8pm (eastbound) and 9pm (westbound) until 6am.
M27 westbound
The westbound side of the M27 will be shut from 9pm to 6am on Monday morning between Junction 3 and Junction 2 for surveys to be carried out. Junction 3 is the M271 junction and Junction 2 is the Salisbury and Fawley.
M3 northbound and southbound
The northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed between Junction 9 at Winnall in Winchester and Junction 8. This is from 9pm to 6am. It’s part of the wider scheme to improve the M3 and A34 junction at Winnall.
