M27: Drivers face lane closure and "severe delays" on westbound carriageway

Commuters are facing increasing delays on the motorway this morning (February 24) due to a lane closure.
The AA has reported that there is considerable congestion on the westbound carriageway on the M27 as a result of a lane closure.
The traffic source says: “Severe delays of 21 minutes and delays increasing on M27 Westbound between J9 A27 Segensworth Link Road (Segensworth / Fareham) and J5 A335 Stoneham Way (Southampton Airport / Eastleigh).
“Average speed ten mph.”
This lane closure is currently in place due to a stalled vehicle between junction 9 and junction 8.
