Drink driver without tax spends New Year's Day in custody after being pulled over on M3
A drink driver has spent the first day of the year in custody after being two times over the limit.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Roads Policing Unit arrested a man yesterday (January 1) after officers received reports from members of the public of a suspected intoxicated driver.

The car was pulled over on the M3 near Winchester and as well as being driven without tax, a valid MOT and a tyre below the legal limit, the man also provided a positive breath test with a reading of 75 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres.
