Essential work will see the A27 closed until Monday morning
Drivers are facing delays and disruption on a busy A-road with a road closure in place for essential works.
The A27 is closed eastbound at the Langstone Interchange on Sunday, September 6 with delays expected throughout the day. The road has been closed since 9pm on Saturday and will not reopen until Monday, September 7 at 6am.
While delay times have fluctuated throughout the morning, they have remained around seven to minutes.

AA Traffic News have reported: “Delays of seven minutes on A27 Eastbound between A2030 Eastern Road and B2149 Park Road South (Langstone roundabout). Average speed 15mph.”
Ahead of the closure, Katarina Saradinova, head of scheme delivery at National Highways, said: "Our programme to refurbish the Langstone Interchange bridges continues.
"We have carefully planned for key stages of work to take place overnight when the volume of traffic is less and over weekends avoiding major events in the region to minimise disruption to road users and the local community.
"We do understand the impact any carriageway closure has on traffic conditions, and I would like to remind everyone to plan ahead and allow more journey time, especially with Hayling Island being a popular destination for visitors."
