Assisted dying Bill thrown out after it was rejected by MPs in narrow defeat - How did MPS in the Portsmouth area vote?

Assisted dying Bill thrown out

A draft law to legalise assisted dying in England and Wales has been rejected by MPs.

The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill was thrown out after 286 MPs voted against it, while 270 voted in favour.

The news was described as “hugely disappointing”, by Bill sponsor Lauren Edwards, the Labour MP for Rochester and Strood, as she accused Parliament of having “dropped the ball” and described the current law as “simply too cruel and too unjust to be allowed to stand”.
