Meanwhile queues snaked inside, with guests over the moon to have the opportunity to meet Friday Night Dinner’s, Tom Rosenthal, Doctor Who’s, Jemma Redgrave, and Jonathan Hyde, all of whom appeared as panelists at the speakers corner.
Authors including Juno Dawson, Eliza Raine, Wren James, Josh Winning and Jennifer Thorne also took to the stage where they signed books and spoke to fans and this year, the event hosted the all-new Nerf Arena and the LEGO Zone where hordes of budding creative constructors perfected their building skills.
