Support from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) made the initiative happen. With Easter being a common time for children’s parents to be away on deployment, the events were an opportunity to bring military kids together in what can be a challenging time of year.

Luke Barkes, who works in engagement and communications at RN FPS, said: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity for the generous grant that funded our Easter eggs initiative this year.

“Their continued support enables RN FPS to bring joy to children across service communities nationwide, helping to bring communities together during uncertain times this Easter. For families facing the challenges of deployment and Service life, these small moments of kindness make a real difference.

“Through initiatives like this, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is helping to strengthen connections across the naval community, ensuring families feel supported, valued, and part of something bigger.”
