Remembrance Sunday events will take place across the region
The people of Portsmouth will come together this Sunday (November 8) to honour and remember military personnel who have died while serving their country, at various services and parades in and around the city.
Over 37,000 people living in Portsmouth were members of the armed forces community, either currently serving in the military or immediate family’s members of personnel, equating to about 18% of the population. Hundreds of people, both in the forces and members of the public, attend events to honour those who have died in service.
Here is a list of events across the city that will remember the fallen on November 8.
